I went to see Jo because I’ve suffered with chronic knee & shoulder pain for over a decade. I’d tried physio & massages which helped temporarily but the pain would always come back. After noticing it would get worse when I was stressed out I suspected that the pain was linked to something deeper so I scheduled some sessions with Jo.

She held such a beautiful and powerful space for me, I never felt judged or shamed even when lots of dark emotional stuff surfaced. She gave me advance warning of everything she was doing, repeatedly asked for consent & constantly checked in on how I was feeling both during & after our sessions which I hadn’t realised how important that was for me to be completely comfortable.

Jo is such a solid, grounded and loving practitioner that I felt totally safe and was able to relax and allow the process to work. I’m absolutely delighted that the pain in my knee & shoulder seems to have completely gone even 7 weeks since our last session. I highly recommend Jo and this incredible modality!

I can't believe how the hip and lower back pain that I have had for years is now more an infrequent ache. After just one session with Jo, I slept better than I can remember doing for years. Each session has improved on that and it is magical - no pills, no cracking of bones, painful manipulations, just quiet, calm and the lightest of touch of her hands. Amazing!

As a woman of a certain age I have bumbled through peri-menopause and now well into menopause. The anxiety, sleepless nights, the complete lack of self confidence has been, and still is, at times, crippling. When I heard about Jo's new clinic I admit to not really understanding how it could work but I put my trust in this lovely lady.

The treatment itself was relaxing, not invasive in any way and Jo made me feel secure, safe and explained at each stage what she was doing. I left feeling so much calmer but sceptical as to how it would work. That night I went to bed feeling pleasantly tired, with my usual nighttime routine, prepared to be awake by 2:30 am.

Incredibly, I had slept through until 5:30 - a full 9 hours of the most restorative sleep I can honestly say I have had in over 3 years! I have already booked in for my next treatment and am genuinely looking forward to unlocking more calmness in my life.

Thank you, Jo

I have now been for a few sessions of Craniosacral therapy with Jo and I am so grateful for the incredible work she is doing. I felt comfortable and held in the sessions with Jo's warm and caring presence. Through this, she has helped me to return to a safe and still place within my body and to find a path of healing, after difficult experiences that left me feeling lost and confused.

I am really looking forward to more sessions with Jo and thank you again for all that you are and do.

I was very curious to experience Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy with Jo at In The Still Point after hearing about the positive past experiences of friends and fellow practitioners. Jo and I had 6 sessions of BCST over the period of a few months and I enjoyed and benefited from every encounter. As a practitioner, I found Jo to be incredibly calming, easeful and compassionate.

The safe space that she created combined with her skill and practice of BCST led my body to feel safe and free enough to open up and release held tensions and difficult experiences throughout each of our sessions together. The sense of physical and emotional safety created by Jo also allowed me to discuss and unravel the challenges I was facing, which has helped me enormously to integrate my past experiences and move forward in specific areas of my life.

Overall, my experience with BCST and Jo has been incredibly gentle, nurturing and beneficial. Her support and expertise have allowed me to continue to grow and develop into the happier and healthier human that I intend on becoming.

I was recommended to see Jo for treatment to help my IBS and Polycycstic Ovary Syndrome. I didn't really know what to expect but Jo made me feel so at ease and explained everything in a lot of detail. After a series of 7/8 sessions I have really felt such a difference. I am no longer in pain for 3 weeks of the month and my period pain has substantially subsided.

I have felt as the treatments have gone on I have felt more relaxed. This has helped me feel more energised as it's given me permission to rest and recharge which I never used to do. I am so thankful for all that Jo has done for me.

Jo is so lovely, calm, knowledgeable, reassuring and gentle. I particularly like that, unlike many therapists, there is no talking about issues but more feeling and freeing the body. I experienced a feeling of "lightness" and mind clarity even after my initial consultation.

Jo held the most wonderful space for me and worked with my body to permit it to process deeply held trauma, and release what it felt ready to during our session today.

Jo has been helping both myself and my Mum for a while now and we look forward to each of our appointments. Jo has helped us cope with life's stresses - physically, emotionally and mentally and is always available to answer any concerns that we may have. I could not rate Jo higher and am so grateful to have found her.

I came to see Jo on recommendation as I have restless leg syndrome, which has been really debilitating. Jo made me feel so calm and explained how she would work with my body beforehand and during the session. After just one session, my RLS stopped that same day - and I've tried countless other therapists before with little or no results. Thanks to Jo I can now completely relax!

I initially sought help from Jo for a chronic health condition, which I have been suffering from for 20 years. Even though I was much better compared to in the past, thanks to many lifestyle changes, I was becoming more and more aware that nervous system dsyregulation / severe lifelong trauma, was the root cause of my condition. Without addressing this, I knew my health would never be where I wanted it to be. Jo's professionalism, compassion and warmth, is like no other therapist I have met before. Her knowledge of chronic health conditions, the nervous system and the impact of trauma, is in a class of its own.

The sessions themselves are wonderful however a commitment also has to be made to engage in using a variety of tools between sessions. Only then, will true progress be made. It is also paramount to continue to use these tools once you decide to stop seeing Jo. It is a life long journey. This can be tough but it is so worth it. Unfortunately, shortly after we started sessions, I found myself in an unexpected situation in my personal life, which turned my whole world upside down. I absolutely wouldn't have been able to navigate through that period without Jo's guidance. In the past, a situation like this would have caused a severe relapse, but this did not happen.

I continued to make steady progress despite the acute crisis. That was nothing short of a miracle! My symptoms are now a lot less frequent and intense, I am much more resilient and I have more capacity, both at work and in my personal life. This experience has literally been life changing for me. I highly recommend Jo!

Therapy spanning consistently across 2023 with Jo has been life changing for me. I have learnt to connect to my emotions, body and thought processes in ways i never thought I could. Before I began therapy with Jo I was having regular panic attacks, my nervous system was fried from trauma and I was medicating heavily. Now, I am grounded, my mind and body feels at peace - I guess this is what you would call ‘the Still Point’. All of my sessions with Jo were online, this for me initially felt like a gamble as so much of the work requires an emotional and physical connection but through the safe space created I felt that this was not an issue. We practised cranial sacral techniques, compassionate enquiry, meditations to regulate the nervous system amongst many other techniques and lessons and not once did the online presence feel like it was a barrier. I actually found it to be a comfort to go into such deep work in my own home, my sacred space. This work has quite literally upgraded my life. From a physical health perspective but also emotionally. I feel great comfort in knowing that I have Jo as a therapist and will continue to connect, learn, and support myself with Still Point. Thank you Jo for everything you have done for me 🙏🏼

It's hard to express into words what Jo has done for me in the time I have worked with her. I'm beyond grateful for the help and support I have received through both the Compassionate Inquiry and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and would highly recommend Jo to anyone who is ready to look inward and heal. The combination of her extensive knowledge, intuition, friendly, non-judgemental approach has created such a safe and supportive space. Walking into her treatment room is almost instantly relaxing; the world is left at the door. With each session I've felt lighter, brighter and brought back home to myself again and feel more equipped to take what I have learnt into my daily life. Thank you Jo. 🙏

Jo creates an incredibly nurturing and safe space where you are supportively held to turn inwards and face the challenges keeping you stuck in the trauma, and fear. Not only is she highly skilled at what she does, Jo is incredibly real and has a beautiful perspective on life. I'm so grateful.

I had the pleasure of seeing Jo whilst she was training, and I have continued to see Jo on a regular basis, over the time of seeing Jo we have been through many aspects of physical ailments, tooth extraction complications, migraines, lower back pain, TMJ and including an unexpected broken tibia and fibula ,and all those lovely emotions that go hand-in-hand with physical ailments. Jo is truly a beautiful person, inside and out, her soft, gentle voice adds to the whole ease of the sessions, her knowledge and experience of life, and in-depth complex training compounds to make very powerful sessions. You can be completely open with your thoughts and feelings with Jo, knowing that you are completely safe, and that Jo is a highly professional individual. Each session can be so different, it’s absolutely amazing the power of touch , to have a practitioner like Jo, alongside a powerful natural therapy is nothing short of a miracle, the gentle touch to feel the rhythmic movements of the central nervous system, to allow releases and bring balance. I wholeheartedly cannot thank Jo enough for being her beautiful self, and providing this profound alternative therapy to the community.

You rarely meet a Therapist that can always put 100% into every session and with Jo, you get a consistent combination of care, skill and feminine intuition. Her knowledge is endless in the realms of both chronic pain and the psychology of pain. As Jo has lived experience of this herself, she goes beyond just having empathy for her client, she truly knows how this impacts your life. Jo has a passion for her work and it not only shows in her sessions but in the material she shares; If you get a chance read some of Jo's work on her website and social media posts as this lady knows what she is talking about. Now that I have sessions with Jo I wouldn't go back to anyone else as I know I would be disappointed. Definitely 5 stars from me!

It is clear that Jo invests heavily in her own professional development and that combined with her own lived experiences she could truly understand and be empathetic towards my personal situation. Jo is authentic and I never felt judged or uncomfortable as she held space for me in her welcoming and homely clinic space. I really felt understood and listened to by Jo as she guided me through the therapy process. During our sessions Jo worked with me using a combination of Compassionate Inquiry, developed by the renowned Gabor Maté and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy. Jo has a wonderfully calming approach and really is a credible, authentic and very knowledgeable therapist. I will forever be grateful to Jo for the impact her therapy has had on my life. Jo has helped me through some very difficult times and feel so very blessed to have found her.

I went to see Jo when I was struggling with my feelings following a bereavement. She creates a safe space that makes it easy to talk and always works at a pace that is suitable for you as a client. Jo’s approach is full of care and empathy which feels very gentle, even when working through the toughest of issues. Importantly for me, she is humorous at the appropriate times and we shared laughter together as well as tears. I cannot recommend her highly enough as our work together literally changed my life.
